Changing the background color of a page

by abernaith

This tip only shows you how to change the bg color partially, and is best used by free wikis. At the very top of the page that you want to have a different background color, just add the following the code:

<div style="background-color:#000000">

  • You should also put </div> down at the very bottom of the page.

  • "#000000" is an html color. You can change it to a different color that will suit your needs. See here for more html colors or download the Color Calculator.
